Nothing new happening here. Humidity 70%. No movement, pips, zips, or chicks. Floating them tomorrow or Sunday in the bathroom with the shower on high again.

so far nothing as of yet. got concerned so i grabbed and egg really quick and tried to candle it. well never really had the chance to see. While I was trying to do this i had to turn all the lights off then i could not get my hands around the flash light. I kept hearing chicky sounds so closed the door. ( I have chicks in the kitchen right out side the door.) well closed the door and kept hearing it. Realized its the egg LOL

so i hurried up and put it back into the bator. so maybe tomorrow I will have something. I really did not put them in till late that Saturday night. So I think hatching day is really today I should say.

I see i few white marks on the outside of a few shells that I do not remember where there before but could have been. Well off to bed so I can get up and go and get my web cam from free cycle, and hopefully share with family that have not seen this before.

and maybe make some homemade cinnamon rolls to eat while waiting.

I have a pip! I hear chirping! just one out of seventeen so far but REALLY excited!!

So far it looks to be a great hatch. I've pulled 35 out so far. They were SOO crowded and squishing eachother! I had heat and humidity to spare so I took a chance and removed 25 last night in a steamy bathroom. Looks to have worked out OK since there are 10 more hatched and pips in nearly all the rest. That got the humidity down to 75% and it has been there since.

Finally I've got a fuzz butt!

I got one that hatched and is in the brooder!

Im really really hoping more start to pip today. Im hoping for at lease 2 more. Here is my baby! He/she started yesterday afternoon around 3ish and was pipping last night. At about 5ish this morning we were playing kickball with the other eggs so even though you are supposed to wait until the hatch is done, since I have no action, I thought it would be prudent to not have broken eggs.

My first hatch! 6 out of 6 fuzz butts! 7 more in the incubator. Hope it goes as well as this one did!
