No sir he did not.
I'm so very very sorry. No sir he did not.
I'm so sorry. It's very hard.I had to cull two out of three cockerels a few weeks ago. I couldn't find any local takers, not even for meat. They had become very mean. They kept challenging and biting me, and they were bothering the pullets so much that the poor girls would not get off their roost! I went in with dishes of food and water for them, just so they could eat. After the mean cockerels were gone, the girls came outside, ate and drank (and pooped) like there was no tomorrow. So getting rid of the two was the right thing to do. There was peace in the flock again.
But, I cried. Oh, I cried. I still have the pictures of when they were little flufferbums sitting in my hand.
What a great way to look at things. I am going to try and remember this.I just love on the birds I still have, even more!
I'm very glad to hear that.I am still checking areas around here, for any sign of BEN, and a good thing came from this,
(I have been getting even closer to my neighbors than before)
