need advice on treating ducks that were attacked

I don't think it's a seizure...he's trying to get up, walk, preen...he just doesn't have the coordination.
Haven't tried a dark room... afraid to let go of him for fear he'll really hurt himself.

What about this?
Anatipestifer Disease

Signs

Weakness.
Neck tucked in.
Head/neck tremor.
Ataxia.
Disinclined to walk.
Incoordination.
Dyspnoea.
Ocular and/or nasal discharge.
Hyperexcitability

Seems like he has most if not all of those...
That crossed my mind as a possibility.

Okay very weird. You can have partial seizures and remain concious during it. But iam just rambling

Sit in the closet with the poor fella

He's been fairly calm for the last half hour or so, mostly sitting in weird positions with me. He keeps doing this open mouth gasping though which freaks me out. No noises. And he's still kicking and flopping periodically. He just seems so distressed and I have no idea how to help.
