Need advice pls!

Hmm I would keep up the vitamins and what I do I make a scrambled plain egg and give them to my chicks or half of or it one day the rest the next. I never tried yogurt but they may just be deplenished of vitamins or something . Hard telling just keep trying what your doing and good luck.
Thanks so much!!

Hi! For your bedding I would recommend pine shavings, ever since I have gotten my first batch of chicks I’ve used West Coast Pine Shaving and they work awesome! But for the chick that’s moving his head funny I’ve never heard of anything like that. Is he acting normal other then the head shaking?

He was eating and drinking normally today but the head issue seems to be getting worse as the night wears on. He's doing full fledged somersaults now. Almost reminds me of a seizure?! He walks around and pecks a little bit, them somersaults a few times then sleeps on a repeat cycle.I moved him to a separate tub and pit vitamin e in with the food for an extra boost. I am not sure what else to do (; any advice would be great appreciated. Poor little one!

I don’t have any advice so sorry! I’ve never experienced this myself so i don’t know what would help. Good luck! I hope she pulls through!

It sounds like a vitamin deficiency (E and B1 or Thiamine) or wry neck. You could try Nuti Drench or poly vi sol without iron.
It could also be a neurological disorder.

As far as bedding goes I use puppy pads and a small amount of pine shavings the first week and gradually add more.
Most on here will tell you not to use cedar shavings, because the fumes could be poisonous to them.

Thank you! I have not seen Aspen bedding and any of our local farms stores here. Any other recommendations for something I could try for bedding?

NO CEDAR! Cedar is toxic for chickens. That's why it's not used in coops, feeders or nesting boxes. We use a sand base topped with pine shavings for everyone and deep litter all winter. Babies get straight pine shavings. If you need to shift to something other than aspen, try the pelleted bedding sold for horses. Tractor Supply and most feed stores sell it in large bags.
Good Luck!
