NEED ASAP: Electrolytes, how to mix?

I need to mix some electrolytes for some chicks, the package that I had to get is an 8oz packet, Durvet brand. I only want to mix a little at a time. Can someone tell me how??

Directions Read:

For: Drinking Water. Dissolve 1/2 package in 55 gallons or 1 package in 110 gallons.

How do I mix like 1 gallon at a time? How much should I put in a gallon jug, by tsp or tbs.

If by weight, you'll need some good scales

The way to get the amount for ONE gallon is divide the 8oz by 110 which is 0.072oz

Personally, I'd just give them some sugar water until you can figure out the correct amount of what you bought
