Need Cheap & Easy Way to Move Tractor.

Quote:
Nope I have a husband but he works 12 hour shifts, lol. We are going to be using the chickens to help keep the grass under control.

Well, if it's grass you want to keep under control it's geese you might want to think about..... LOL! As for moving your tractor, try getting larger wheels...... something like balloon tires. I do like the lawnmower handle...... good idea. Drag it around with a riding mower. Your coop doesn't look to be that big. Heck, use your car.

At the other end I have an old hose that I've mounted to it to pull it with, it's just too dang heavy.

I tried a rope first. The lawn mower handle is much easier.

Did you look at my A frame? I am a 140# grandmother.

Heck, if you have to push the thing with your car. I have a friend who uses her Lab dogs to pull hers! She's convinced them they are Husky dogs and they love the job, but will scarf up the chicken poo if given a chance!

I used rotating trailer jacks with wheels.

Hey ya'll, I DON'T HAVE A TRACTOR!! OR RIDING LAWNMOWER!!! I have me! a fat, weak, chemo-infused 50 year old! I "man-handled" it into a new spot today but got to come up with something that while work better. I need something that is cheap to do, I'm on a fixed income. Expensive wheels and jacks aren't in the budget!

@zoo I looked at your nice A-frame. I can see your wheels on the front but can't find a picture of where your lawnmower handle is.

We've gone with tractor that isn't too high because we get bad winds the blew over my quail flight pen a few weeks ago

put pieces of pvc pipe( a foot longer than the width) under it and it will roll easy. the bigger diameter the pipe the easier it will roll. just make a lever (teeter totter) to lift it high enough to get the pipe under it.
