Need Chicken Love Advice

I don't understand your statement "the only guy who knocked her up". Do you mean she isn't laying eggs? That has nothing to do with having a rooster. I think you would be much better off to get a couple of pullets. She needs other chickens since they are a flock animal but getting a " rooster" for one hen is not a good idea.
No no, she was only mated with that male. Knocked up as in fertilization. She lays eggs regardless.

For sure, I’ve done it twice with roosters. The thing is that one had neurological issues and was too nervous to eat. Then the other didn’t trust me, so I couldn’t protect the little guy from his demise. I’m just raising chicks so that I know their genetics and will let me guide them into the coop at night. I get what you mean though
You don't need to guide chickens to the coop at night.....I think your posts are a joke....right? I'm sorry if you are being serious, I just get the feeling you are messing with us. :idunno

The other rooster I got didn’t take a liking to her at all for some reason. While the other one was very pleasant and fertilized her. I’m attempting to get a male chick to raise so that he can get the job done

I had a rooster that didn’t trust me or like my hen, so he perched at random places instead of going into the coop. I don’t know where he went since he’s so small. One day he was thrown by the wind from wherever he was at into some water and drowned
