Joining you guys! I have eggs due to hatch on the 19th and 22nd. I can't wait to see if any make it! My family thinks I am crazy hatching this late in the year but oh well

I could not resist candeling tonight, this is day # 7.

We have 12 eggs and out of those 12, we have at least 7 that have veins!!

I cannot really see into some of them (green/blue and olive colors) so that is why I say at least 7. We have 6 white and 6 the other colors, but one of the other color is a little lighter, so I could see in that one.

Who else has candled?? What are you seeing??

I candled only seen a few out of a dozen that have veins.

Hey, it sounds like everyone has some developing! That's great! I also am seeing veins, even after that power outage. That outage was really wide spread, clear to the next county, never did hear what caused it. Glad that I was this far out in the incubation period, but not too far out. I think I have one dud, will make sure first before I toss it.
And someone mentioned the green/blue eggs being hard, I know how that goes. I have quite a few in. I also have some Maran mix eggs, that are real dark. I know after I see that little eye, it won't be long I won't be seeing much else in them. Need to candle tonight to see if that one egg is still clear.

My DH built me a candler out of a large can too. Can't remember what kind of can now, but man, it works great!

I love the different colors you get from the EE's, always a mix, so always a surprise. Unless, you know the daddy and the mama, and have had them together before..

So, my question to you Cynthia12 is Where are you in Utah? I am in Grand Junction Colorado which is near the Utah Border. Most members on here are in TEXAS
