Need Hatching Buddy Set 04/29 due 05/20

I dont have a broody hen, mine are all layandruns. So I am trying a new incubator, set eggs last night again. Really watching the temp but have no way of checking the humidity, I'm going to get a humidity checker. Getting really serious about this egg hatching business.

How is everyone doing? I am resisting the temptation to candle, only on day 4 now

My broody's sitting tight, only gets off the nest to use the bathroom and barely eat. She stole someone's eggs, so instead of the original number, she's sitting on ten now. I'm very tempted to candle too.... I can't wait for this week to be over so I can see what she's sitting on!

I set 7 in the LG bator on Saturday...due 5/21 ~ I was thinking the same thing about candling...but waiting til day 7. I am so excited I can't think straight! lol! First timer

Okay, I broke down and candled last night

However, good news is they all look like they are developing

So I candled some of mine last night and there's chicks!!!! I think I've got a few duds, but I'm going to wait a few days just to be sure. Even if just one hatches I'll be happy!
