Need Help! 18 day old hatching eggs. Hen died

Keep the temperature there and put some damp rags around them the hard part is you don’t have a incubator so you will have to keep the rags good and damp. If you have a chance make a incubator and get it stable. If not just keep doing what you are doing just with damp rags. Add warm water regularly the rags need to stay as damp as possible. You have a 50/50 chance of saving them. What got momma

Oh yeah try not to move the eggs anymore then absolutely necessary eggs in that late stage need to be left alone as much as possible

Yep, they can survive for many hours after she was off them, as long as they don't freeze.
You will need something to create and capture some humidity. Don't get the eggs wet, but see if you have some kind of container to trap some humidity, but they still need ventilation
Also, if you have trouble keeping the temperature steady, lower is better than higher. Don't let them get too warm

Right if you use the rags don’t let them touch the eggs just surround them with it

My dogs. My latch to my pen did not catch and the wind blew it open. I was gone and the dogs got 19 hens and my rooster. Three hens hid and the eggs were left. I am heartbroken over this; but trying to save the chicks. They could be 18-20 days. So close.

My dogs. My latch to my pen did not catch and the wind blew it open. I was gone and the dogs got 19 hens and my rooster. Three hens hid and the eggs were left. I am heartbroken over this; but trying to save the chicks. They could be 18-20 days. So close.

I am angry at the dogs; but you are right. They were just being dogs. It was my fault that I did not secure that latch.
