Need help ASAP! Rooster gasping for air and making a gurgling nose.

What does his crop feel like? Is it hard or squishy.
You need to read the articles you are skipping about impacted and sour crop. Those are relevant - stuff came out of his mouth most likely because his crop is full because it is impacted.
To empty it you need to clear the blockage. Coconut oil and massage is the way to start but you need to be careful that you don’t push stuff upwards where he could aspirate.

His crop is squishy and quite full. I'm pretty sure it's sour crop, I'll check his crop in the morning though. I do have coconut oil and will massage tomorrow, I'm a bit nervous to do it though because I'm afraid he'll aspirate. Do you think he aspirated the stuff in his crop when I was holding him? He's doing much better on his breathing, although I do still hear a crackling. Is there anything I can do for that?

He started gasping after the liquid came out of his beak?
Sounds like he may have aspirated some liquid, there's not a lot you can do about that.

I would not try to vomit him or empty the crop, it's very dangerous to try to empty a crop that way, they can choke and die.

If he's improving slowly from the aspiration, then hopefully that won't cause further problems.

I would not massage a crop that is full of liquid. Again, you risk pushing the liquid up into the beak and him aspirating. Chickens do not have a gag reflex.

I need help with my rooster, I'm not sure if he aspirated or something but he's gasping for air and making a gurgling noise. I also think he may have sour crop. He is 7 years old so this may be it for him. Is there anything I can do?

Sadly I had a chick that did this. Is it possible he is choking? I know this might be after he is gone but check for choking if he's still with you.

I can't seem to find anything on it, I am searching "how to empty a chickens crop" on google and all that comes up is stuff about sour and impacted crop. Can't find anything on BYC either. Could you give me a link?

Ok so he made it through the night. His gasping is much better, he's pretty much not gasping at all and he's not making any weird noises. He does have sour crop, his crop seemed to empty some. How should I treat?

I don't think he's choking, I think he aspirated.
