Hey everyone I have a duck name Marshmallow and she's almost 2 months. She just got bitten I'm guessing a bug on her head and she was fine this morning. She was eating drinking swimming. But now she gets tired really fast doesn't seem like her. Can anyone tell me what I can do at this point. I'm really scared to lose her. Please anyone. I attended a picture if that helps.

It would depend a great deal upon what type of insect bit her. There aren't many insects in California; spiders and bees I think?

If its either one, you can make a paste of wood charcoal and apply it to the bite and it could help.

Okay I'll do that how about her sleeping so much. What can I do?

Animals as wells humans sleep more when they're uncomfortable. As long as she is eating/drinking/breathing/walking normally other than being sleepier that isn't abnormal. Plus, it's literally almost midnight right now so being sleepy isn't too unusual.

Okay sounds about right. I'll keep a close on her. Thank you so much
