need help ASAP!

I am sorry the chick was lost. Too many chicks are lost due to human interference. The best advise you can take is to leave things alone and find something else to do until you see the babies peeking out from momma hen.

what could have caused this. As i removed the menbrane and rest of shell the chick was fully formed and a good size it had already began to asorb the yolk. Some people have said it was due to low humity.

I've had hens get anxious and peck the shell away. Maybe that's what happened. Sorry the chick did not make it.

well sense the hen got off ya that might of been the problem, i mean its like openeing the incubator the last few days yes so that is probably what killed him.

i am very sorry he died, but just think of it this way, the others lived and your hen will lay more for you

That is true but its always sad why you lost one. Also my eggs in the incubator didnt make it one hatched and died and the other 4 of my eggs arent doing anything and they are on day 21. So I dunno.
