Need Help. Chick seems to have intestines outside body or is it the yoke sac?

I did just that when I posted the post. I figured if the other chicks hatching had broken the shell it was only a matter of time before they got to the yoke. Thank you for confirming that I did the right thing. Right after posting this I had another chick hatch out within an umbilical hernia. So that one end doing the corn starch treatment on it and putting it in a small bowl too. It was bleeding out before doing that. That cup was out and running around when I woke up. 😌 The 4 chicks that hatched were all hatched 24 hrs before they were suppose to. 2 of the 4 ended up with problems. I’m really getting to hate the Chinese Incubator. My chicks in the Little Giant are all doing great. The ones in the Chinese one I always have some coming out with problems. Thinking about it now, I think I might know what the problem is now. The Chinese bator The temperature and humidity is very hard to control. I end up having to cover it with a blanket just to regulate the temperature and tape the face of it to keep the humidity where it needs to be.

It sounds like you're already aware but high temps can cause early hatches as well as a higher occurrence of hernias and unabsorbed yolk sacs. I'm sorry this has been such a difficult hatch! :hugs It's good to see that your chick seems to be coming around!
