What do u mean commen sence? Yes I know I use a heated bulb and its safe and a person I know lost her chickens from water heater will never use them will try tire ideas thank u every one thats enuff infor for now thank you

The Healthy Harvest is a bit high in protein. Not ideal. But if you feed them a little scratch also I think you I I use it up.

Scratch can be useful for gout to dilute(bring down) the protein content. But scratch is also garbage food basically, little nutrition. Not great for your laying hens. So I'd keep the actual food in front of them all day, then add scratch 2 times a day only.

You have 27 chickens? I'd measure out 3 cups of scratch 2 times a day. Most importantly, keep the grower free choice for them all day.

Someone might know better how to ration this.

I'd use it up as I said with the scratch added 2 times a day then switch to grower.

When I said actual food I mean a complete chicken feed like grower, starter etc. In this case use the starter grower bag yes. Then find grower.

No I mean for all my birds witch one should I use flock raiser or chick grower or is it called chick grower flock raiser all one name? Whats wrong buying chicken feed from stores? I think there fresh feed I dont any mills who makes chicken feed
