Need help chicken expert got rooster and hen need help

powdered female cleansing agent... cant spell the term used

Hmm, now I'm curious so I did a bit of searching. Do you mean Vagisil powder? But that says it's just a deodorant, so I can't imagine why it would help with bumblefoot. Is the product you're thinking of medicated?

its called masingil, yellow powder you mix with water..I thought it strange too but it worked for me. and i think it is medicated, but I am a man and don't use it for anything else.???????:eek:

I found one through Google called Massengill... is that it? I can't seem to find what's in it though. Sorry, but I live in a rural area and while it may be hard to find things to treat bumblefoot with, I might be able to find that if I need it! :gig

does anyone ever feel guilty when collecting eggs? the hens seem to complain when I do!

I do! I kept chucking one out of the coop this afternoon around three, thinking she was trying to go broody, but lo and behold she laid a late afternoon egg. I felt really guilty for that one! :oops:

all but one chicken laid today, I wont free range them till ALL have laid! xcept for the roosters, obviously!
