I did say layer feed please read and its cold hereYes weather conditions and feed product availability could be useful.
Iam not getting up set sheeshIn any case that Masengil product won't treat gout. There is no particular medication that will cure him, but you can try different feed changes to help.
If you've had 2 birds with gout recently I think you should realize that you need to take a good look at how they live, eat, and drink to uncover what's causing it. All of these things are clues to help figure out what to change to help the bird and help prevent more of this.
What breed?
Age? ("Old" "young" isn't age)
How many birds do you have?
What state or country do you live in?
What's the coop dimensions?
Run dimensions, or free range?
What bedding?(pics of coop and run inside and out are best)
EXACT food they eat, fed all day or?
Human scrap food given?
What else do they have, grit, oyster shell?
How are they watered, how often?
You seem to get upset when people ask you questions but the answers are needed for help from experienced people here. Please answer these questions or unfortunately no one will be able to help you with your rooster. Thanks!
Not getting upset but ppl keep asking questions that I all ready wrote. Just one chicken with gout. And mix breed and dont know how bog barn or run the measurements dont know how old they are guessing 2. Got 27 chickens liveing in new york state. Feed them layer feed. I did write in begging about allot of stuff what I would askI did read yes. But what layer feed, there are hundreds. Please see the list of questions again. Exactly what feed.
