Need help confirming the gender of my Japanese bantam runt

I hatched out a Japanese bantam runt on the 22nd of June and im hoping its a hen (we call her jellybean since her moms name is bean) so jellybean is less then a month old and i do see the comb starting to grow so I think “she” is a he please tell me im wrong!!

Agreed, it'll become more evident in 4 more weeks if they are a cockerel but right now nothing points to that yet.
It seems like these bantams show themselves fairly early. I think in another week or two, if that comb doesn't grow or redden, I'd be fairly certain. I am not a Japanese Bantam expert, though.

Sorry for the terrible picture, but this was my bantam pair (mixed breeds) at *just* a bit older. You could tell from very early on.

(The female has a rose comb, though.)

Okay!! Well ill hold onto her for a couple more weeks and come back and see what you all think!

Ah, I have no experience with them either. Honestly, with most of my chickens they were obvious at 4 weeks so I do agree with that. I just know that many people here don't like the being certain at 4 weeks so I gave the little buffer for that reason.

Im going to take a picture of one of my Japanese bantam chicks that fell really sick but now is doing well born on the 28th of June but he/she looks smaller then my hen born on the 6th of July
