Need help - Cute pictures attached!

so it's just a stryofoam cooler? Wow! and a 100% hatch rate. Just goes to show you that smart people don't need to spend a lot of money on fancy incubators! @WannaBeHillBilly I know you could so this too!
I sure could do something like this on the fly, but:

If i try to incubate eggs now, my wife would throw me, the incubator or the ducklings out!
She is duckling and duck tired (screechin' Magpies!) for now. - Some dozen duck eggs may change that…

And, of course the German perfectionism kicks in:
  • Instead of a light bulb i'd like to use ceramic heating element(s) and a fan
  • Perfect control over the humidity is required - have think about how to do it, maybe drying the incoming air with Silica-gel and add water vapor as necessary…
  • Automatic egg turner - i'm lazy…
  • Must be connected to my WiFi network and accessible on the internet as well as being able to send me (e-mail) notifications if something's wrong. - I might be at the other end of the continent…
  • There should be two partitions at least, so that eggs can be moved from the incubation area into the hatching area.
  • Finally the whole thing must look nice enough to fit into my home-office and must pass the wife's hawk-eye test of beauty.
As usual, I'm in the way myself. - I'm really good at it!
Awesome job @Jpat ! What i like most is »found the cooler on the curb 0$«
I would add
- having fun with ducklings - priceless!
to the list.

Oh yes! My duckies still try that at 3 months - it usually doesn't end well, they're just too large and feathers and water doesn't mix as well as down and water. I miss my little fluff butts!

Mine arent even a month old XD. They try and do it in our bath tub when I put them in so they can clean themselves off.

Thank you @Pyxis your a national treasure!

@Jpat I know you love Pekins so I have to tell you a story. Yesterday we took our last three muttlings to the lady that adopted a couple Pekins from us a while back. The one we called Curley because of the feathers growing sideways out her head has been re named Aflac. Every time she calls Aflac, you would swear the duck answered Aflac .
They might not be the prettiest colored ducks but the big goofy smile and waddle make up for color.
