Hey everyone, this is my rooster, Chris. We gave him to a friend, who kept him for about 3–4 months in a new flock with other roosters. We picked him up two days ago, and now he seems to limp when he walks. Otherwise, he’s acting normal , eating and drinking fine , but I’m not sure what’s going on

He is handsome. It looks like his feet are very dirty, and I would soak them inside in some warm dawn soapy water, and then retake a picture of his feet when dry. A bucket or dishpan works well for soaking. If he was kept in muddy or soiled bedding, he could have bumble foot or foot pad dermatitis.

It also looks like he may have a touch of mild frostbite on his comb tips and wattles. No treatment for that lis needed.

Did you quarantine him before introducing him back into your flock?
Unfortunately I didn’t , I just put him on the roosting bars whenever we made it back home. I realized that he isn’t really dominant anymore like how he used to be , but he is mating with the hens now

If he's back with you and there's no other roosters, he may become more dominate, hard to know. Being in another flock with other roosters, he likely lost some vigor/confidence.

I'd give his feet a good wash up. Take a soft brush and gently remove all the debris in the creases/nooks/crannies, even in the crease of the footpad.
Get some more photos.

Just at a glance, he probably has at least 2 cuts/injury to the 2 toes on the left foot, hard to see all of the right one.

Could be from fence fighting, this can shred feet sometimes.

If there are cuts, then I'd soak the feet in a Chlorhexidine solution, let the solution dry on the feet. Wrap and keep him on clean dry bedding. Next day, do the same. Third day, after soaking, apply a very small thin layer of triple antibiotic ointment to just the cuts, wrap again...proceed. But monitor the cuts heavily, take photos along the way for comparison. Usually they will heal up pretty quick if it's just cuts.
