These chicks were adopted from my son's school after they did a unit on chickens. The teacher had no idea what kind of chickens they were. Being new at this, I have no idea. I am not sure if you have to wait until they are older to tell what breed they are or not. Any help is welcomed. Also, if you see anything that is not "chicken friendly" in my pictures PLEASE feel free to tell me. We don't want to find out the hard way.
So here it goes. Two of the chicks pretty much look the same. The one in the front and the one in the back. Their wing feathers are coming in and the are black and white stripes. All of the chicks hatched between Sunday night (5/6) and Tuesday afternoon (5/8). The third one (the one in the middle) looks a little different to us. It's wing feathers appear to be solid black. I am having trouble getting my pictures to load here, but I have several on my profile in my default album.
Thanks for the info...Amanda
