"Audrey' is greatly improved condition, and is still a cockerel. Start with a plan 'B' for when he starts crowing.

None of my flock are sopose to be boys..Still looking masculine to me as well. But so much healthier!
Also a thought, if you have other boys, sometimes they’ll suppress the behaviours in lower ranked cockerels. I hatched 3 hedemora chicks, all cockerels, and the lowest one on the totem pole didn’t start crowing until he was in the house due to some frostbite, away from the others entirely. By his behaviour when he was outside with everyone else, you could have sworn he was a pullet, although he is otherwise pretty obviously male. He’s a wooly so he doesn’t have the same feathering (hes silkied) and it’s hard to see his saddles, so it would be easy to assume he was a pullet if you didn’t take the other clues into consideration.
Didn’t you say your chickens were mounting each other?None of my flock are sopose to be boys..
Yes but they are are not sopose to be boys... lol I purchased pullets lol..Didn’t you say your chickens were mounting each other?
You could post pics of your mounters here and we could try to sex them for you. Sometimes bossy pullets will mount as well. It could just be them aserting dominance.Yes but they are are not sopose to be boys... lol I purchased pullets lol..
doesn’t mean that they all turn out to be pullets..lol... as we have seen developing with Audrey
