I have a Pomeranian goose egg in the bator...
I’ve seen a slight dip in the air cell...(put the egg in lockdown last night)...Today is day 26. Should I put the egg back in the turner for another day or just leave it in lockdown?...I’ve looked all over the Internet and can’t find a specific number of days for incubating the Pomeranian breed of goose...Any help greatly appreciated ☺️

I spoke to a lady who raises Sebastopols and she said to wait until Day 28. All the literature that I’ve read has said that the average time for hatching goose eggs is 30 days. I just hatched a Pilgrim baby a few days ago and she hatched at 30 days. The other egg that was in the incubator didn’t make it...I did an eggtopsie and everything looked perfect on her except for her yolk wasn’t absorbed...I put them in lockdown on day 26 and I can’t help but think if I had waited until day 28, would both little goslings have made it...who knows.
Thanks for your response though...
