I didn't see any signs of water bellySorry for your loss. You could get a necropsy through one of the locations of the state vet in TX tomorrow if you keep the body cold with ice in a cooler (wrap in 2 garbage bags.) Or, you could do a home necropsy to look at her organs— intestines, liver, gizzard, oviduct, etc., and look for any yellow fluids in the abdomen, a sign of water belly. It can help give you an idea of what was wrong. Take pictures of the organs and post here if you want some opinions. Here is a list of state vets with the TX labs:
