Need help!! My two day old chick with sore eye???

I bought home 4 day old chicks today, and noticed after our car journey one of my little polishes seems to have a sore eye that I didn’t notice before when I picked them up.. I’m wondering if it happened on the drive home or something..
is there anything I can do to help her??? It seems to be irritating her and she’s such a tiny little thing I want to give her the best chance of survival!!

If you can get it, you could try teramyacin. I’ve used the ointment type in kitten and bird eyes and it has always worked wonders.

I think it was full of pus, it looks like it may have been injured by another’s foot or beak on the drive home as I think there is a small cut in the corner of her eyelid. I have been treating it with warm salty water and eye antibiotic ointment twice a day, plus triple c in the water. Almost a week later and it’s still swollen but I think it’s starting to look better as she can open it now!
