I have a serama hen sitting on eggs they should be hatched this month, however I live in Wisconsin and it has been real cold here, should I let mom take care of them,or is it to cold for her to take care of them, she is a excellent mom,and I didnt think she would be sitting this late in the year,,anyone that can give me some advice,it would be great,,thank you,sue

You don't say how many she's sitting on, but I think she'll be better at it than you! Just give her a dry place to stay and feed her well. She'll teach the babies and keep them snug, and she has just the right heat and humidity to do the job.

I had a banty to hatch a clutch in January, when the temps were in the low teens. The babies were fine.

Right on! She'll do fine...
if you are really concerned, perhaps add a light for them for extra warmth.
