    hi i have a 4 to 5 week old black sex liked chicken when we bought her was told female she was all blak when we bought her and i am a little confused about if she is a boy or a girl the last time we bought from the co-op they said they were all girls and i wound up with a boy any help would be greatful

    I would say that she is a she, looks just like my Pip Squeak.

    BSL roos will also feather in with black and white barring, so your baby is a girl.

    Unless your BSL is actually a GLW or something else and then you have a roo.

    ty for all the info i really appreciate it i have noticed that she streaches out her neck and opend her mouth wide but no sound comes out

    Steen, are you asking or telling? If you are asking, your picture looks like a BSL pullet. The cockerels would be barred like a barred rock. All bets are off if somebody bred a BSL to a BSL.
