Need help???? Please :)

Just set my second hatch, using my own eggs this time. My first hatch was from local eggs and I got 80%. Living in Arizona I was a little worried about the humidity thing and figured I didn't have a choice but to go "dry". I take out both plugs and put a damp sponge over one of the vent holes. My incubator stays at about 25% and I don't touch it until day 18 when I take out the auto-turner and put my sponge inside. No mess no fuss and I figure with 80% on my first try I must have gotten it right. I read about 100 books, posts and articles before I started and decided to stay with my usual KISS ways. Happy hatch!!

Wow thank you guys :) I am hoping I get it right too :)
A friend of mine is paying me to hatch some ducklings for him next batch :)
He is down to one duck and one drake thanks to foxes and eagles. Funny he only lives a couple of km's away and I don't see anything like that lol
So I need to get this batch right :)

Wow, I just had several phone calls around town here, I am hoping I can get this incubation right, I have had orders from chicken eggs, to ducks, now to princess parrots  all paying me to incubate them :)
I just really hope I can do this, not that I need the money, but hate the thought of letting anyone down

I hope some of Henrietta's chickens manage to hatch :( I just lost her :(
Sitting out the back yard, she was a bit hot, started panting, so I bought her inside in the cool and within 5 minutes she started fitting :(
Very sad day for me and my son Seth :( We have had our cry :(
Had plans to go away for Christmas, not now :( Staying home to keep an eye on all my babies
RIP Henrietta :) We still love you no matter where you are xx

Thats a bad deal. Sorry to hear that, I lost 3 this summer I believe do to heat. Couldn't find anything else wrong with them. As long as the humidity and temps are right and the eggs are fertile everything should be good.

A friend of mine is an agricultural vet, found out she had managed to get something stuck in her craw :( So today will be spending time really cleaning up the yard :)
On the upside, candled the eggs last night, some veins starting to appear in all the eggs, plus can just see embryo's starting to get some solid shape to them :)
One egg looked very porous and the dots spelt out the word "Her" lol needless to say we were gobsmacked lol
