Okay, to add to my flock, I purchased five "Americanas".....which I do know full well are just EEs, however, that is what I wanted so I'm fine with that....but, I have a feeling the "sexed pullets" I bought are turning out to be two pullets and three cockerels.

I'm hoping I am wrong, but here are some photos.

This one I'm calling Uh-Oh because I'm afraid it is male:

Okay, here is one I call Partridge. I've been thinking this is a male for a couple weeks now....

Here he is from the front.

Okay, this one is so pretty I won't mind if it is a roo, but still....

Okay, I'm talking about the red and white one, shown here with Uh-Oh

Here is one with just him:

And a blurry one, sorry:

Okay, this one I'm hoping is a pullet, I call her "buff":

Thanks in advance!

I agree. I also think that first one is going to be stunning when he gets older, much prettier than the one you think is pretty now.

I'm thinking you're right...the first three do look like roos to me and the last two look like girls. The only one I am unsure of is Partridge but I am VERY new at this sexing chickens thing. I have 6 EEs and I am hoping they are all girls.

I have an EE that is Identical to Partridge. My 5yo son named her Pretty, but dh and I call her Bertha Blackbeard, b/c she developed a full black beard around the age Partridge is now. I am new to EE's this year, too, but since Ilia also says girl, you can be 99% sure it's a girl.

Well Partridge being female would make me happier......

I do think Uh Oh is gorgeous....these photos really do not do him justice as far as his pretty colors, but I thought he was a gorgeous HEN

. The red and white one and he are good buddies at this point, if they can coexist, I have enough hens (NOT these ones) for two roos. The red and white one has looked rather roo-ish for awhile so I'm resigned to that one already.

I unfortunately BOUGHT a roo as well, an EE just so I'd have one to make purebred eggs from my pullets

, so I have at least three roos. The one I purchased is nowhere near as beautiful as Uh-oh and Red-and-White.
