Need help with hanging poultry or aviary netting over large run

If you still haven't permanently installed your aviary netting, I wanted to let you know that what you received probably does stretch into a square. We just put up half of our netting after two previous unsuccessful and frustrating attempts. Look at instructions at http://www.jacissel.net/pdf/toprite-instructions.pdf. We built a frame over our pen. It is a ridge beam with a post halfway along the 24-foot span, two gable ends, and horizontal boards along the long sides of the pen. Our netting is 12-feet wide, so we the distance between the ridge the side boards is 12 feet minus overlap to the connection points.. Instead of using staples (we tried that on the second attempt), we set nails every foot along all frame boards and then pulled to those.

Thank you - that is very helpful. No I haven't had a chance to finish my run - had knee surgery in March & illness during most of April that kept me from getting to it before school got out for summer. The netting still hangs the same way it did at the end of winter and my dreams of having a garden in there have been put on hold until next year. The chickens have free access to the entire area. The White Leghorn cockerel who kept flying out has since been rehomed in favor of a Silkie roo who mostly stays put. LOL.

In the fall after school starts back I plan to try again with finishing the run and stretching it over the entire area - so those instructions will come in handy.
