I live in Florida. It’s very humid here to begin with. The humidity outside is about 87 percent on average. I have the janoel 12 incubator and i have had eggs in there since yesterday. I don’t have a hydrometer and I’m incubating them in my garage. The incubator says put 100 ml of water every two days but that sounds like way too much. Would I be good not putting water in at all?

Congratulations and best of luck on the hatch! :fl
It would be really good if you can pick up a hygrometer... its difficult to keep an eye on humidity without one. I use a fairly cheap digital one from walmart but be sure if you go with one like it that you put new batteries in it. I try to keep humidity around 30% until lockdown, then bump it up to 65 or 70% for last 3 days and during hatch.
Here's what I use... it runs about $10 at out Walmart but prices vary..lol

Thanks! I got a hygrometer. Is it okay if I place it on top of the eggs? Will that have an effect on the eggs incubating at all? It’s not too big. It’s only covering 2 or 3 eggs.
