Crowing
Okay thank you, also she is eating and drinking, does that change anything? Should I stop giving her food or not?
Ok that’s great! Definitely start offering them grit ASAP - but please hold off on the extreme treatments until you have diagnosed an actual problem. Wait until the morning - the crop should be flat and empty. If not, then you have a problem. I do not agree with the Pedialite - too much sugar and is meant to offer electrolytes - which would be pointless if the liquid can’t reach the stomach to begin with. Crops get IMPACTED first, and if they sit with the food in there it ferments and that is what SOUR CROP is - a yeast infection from fermenting food in the crop. There are two completely different types of treatments for both and treating for sour crop if it’s only just impacted can be way too aggressive.Yeah I was planning on putting them outside last week but I’ve ended up minding my mums dog so I’ve held off for a week, they will be going outside on Monday, also they have atleast 2 hours a day on rhe grass to chicken around![]()
