Need help with water flow

I'd take it right next to the coop since that's where water is pooling and then downhill.

P.S. When I did that little ditch I showed you in the previous thread I was out there in my raincoat scraping away while the rain fell on me -- which is, admittedly, easier when it's a 60F rain than when it's a 45F rain.

You mentioned the run is a little higher than the coop, and the side closest to the house is higher than the opposite side, correct? If so, I'd do a french drain from the highest point along the run and a little past the coop.

Unfortunately the ground is saturated, and it can't hold any more. Without seeing it in person, I'm thinking a french drain along the upper side of the coop and run would help with a lot of your water issues in the run/coop area.

Either ought to work. I suspect it would be more convenient to have it near the coop so you're not stumbling in it when working on the garden bed.
