NEED HELP!

I made a DIY incubator today, I'd tried to used it tonight but there was a problem , the temperature of my incubator was only 35.5 or below I used 25 watts lightbulb.. Is it ok to used 50-70watts for the DIY incubator I made? Help me pls

I got this for my honey storage cabinet. It turns the bulb on and off to maintain the temperature you want so you could use a different bulb without cooking your eggs. It's pricey, but their might be other brands that are just as good.
I don't see how a bulb can maintain a steady temperature, it seems like the heat would always increase without constant supervision.
