need help

im having trouble breeding pigeons....any advice would be appriciated

What kind of pigeons do you have?

What dose there in closers look like?

Are they laying at all?

Need info.

What troubles are you having? Tell us the problems, and hopefully we can provide solutions. My biggest problem is keeping mine from breeding. Today I threw out 9 sets of eggs and substituted nest eggs.

i have west of england tumblers.....been going on three years now....i have three 8x8 lofts with an 8x8 run attached to them. i have only ever hatched 3 eggs and at about 10 days old mom and dad just seem to quit taking care of them.....up until last week i had 1 cock bird and 3 hens....i just purchased 3 more pairs....i have one pair in one enclosure by itself and the rest are all in another enclosure leaving one pen empty.... i got my first egg off the year on saturday (only one) and i dont think mom and dad are sitting on it enough....its from my favorite pigeon so i would really like to get it hatched....i feed them laying crumb ( the same feed my chickens eat). I gotta be doing sumthn wrong but dont know what
