I got chickens last March. As of January they look like they are about 20 weeks old. They have a pale comb. Eating habits are very good. They never grew stayed small. Haven't laid any eggs. Have tried antibiotics & worm medicine. Nothing has helped. Does anyone have any idea what caused this.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You might want to try posting in the Managing Your Flock forum about them... pictures might help also. What breed are they? What are you feeding them? Have they ever been ill that you know of?

to BYC!

If you got them last march, wouldn't they be 10 months old now? I haven't a clue. You might follow Kelsie's advice and post this question in the Managing your Flock section or even the Egg Laying section of BYC...

Good luck with your flock!

Thank you for the replies. They are Welsummer, Delaware, Americana, They were never sick. Just never grew to the adult size. I started with chick feed an went on up with the other stages of food. I've had chickens many years. This is the first en counter. I had with this problem. I contacted the hatchery twice from where I purchased an they will not respond. I have looked everywhere for an answer. This is my last resort
