Hello all! I got my first geese last spring (along with 4 ducks) and they spent the end of the summer and all of the winter in a pen I built in the old barn. I'd like to move them to an outdoor pen and separate the geese and the ducks for the summer. Would I be best to make them moveable pallet houses or to anchor them down? Also, would they do better on a dirt floor or should I provide substrate material w/ better drainage to control the muck? They have access to a big pond during the day, so I don't put anything beyond a pail of water w/ their food for nighttime.
