Hey guys. I need some help with my incubator. I have been having some difficulty with the humidity. I have a fairly large tray with a sponge in the middle with a good amount of water but my humidity seems to want to stay between 35 and 40. I tried a test to see if I can bring the humidity up to 60-80 but it just not happening. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I made my own incubator and all my eggs are doing great but I just want to be ready for the hatching process. What should I do?

Try calibrating your humidity gauge to make sure it's correct. Google can tell you how. Then check for gaps in your lid. Wrap it all up in towels or a blanket.

Have you calibrated your hygrometer to make sure it's giving an accurate reading?
Of it's not going up, it maybe be your sensor.

Well it does go up and it has. A couple times I’ve gotten it to get up to 70 but it doesn’t stay there and that was only because I put hot water in my tray
