Need ideas and to rant a little

awful yes but funny too. I can only imagine the look on their face when they open it. You could even include a note some thing like ( THANKS FOR THE TRASH REMOVAL )

A call to your local postmaster at your postoffice might work. They will leave instructions for your mailman to knock when there is a package. Walmart has a simple security system that is easy to set up. A game camera is inexpensive if it you could conceal it so they don't steal that too. Have you talked to your building manager? Good luck .

I volunteered at a thrift store during the summer. They set up cameras and the next day when they checked the cameras it showed someone trying to get into the store. Haha, pretty creepy.

UPS refused to knock when they delivered. They just tossed it by the door. Problem was they tossed by the wrong stupid door and the neighbor refused to return the package that was not addressed to them. FINE. I put up a huge stink and UPS ended up paying for a replacement. It was only a manual for a tractor for my dad but it was close to $100. They were not very nice about it but they did pay because the seller pitched a fit too. I had a very surly UPS driver knock on my door and require to me to sign for my next package.

Now I live in the country and even the post man just drops packages at the bottom of the hill. Says our hill is too steep for them.

I guess I'm lucky. I live out in the boonies, but the mail carrier brings things that are too big for the mailbox to the door. If no one is home he/she leaves them on the porch. FedEx and UPS both knock. They usually don't wait for me to answer, but they do knock.

Same here, except I don't live in the boonies:)
