I have a Broody hen who had hatched 2 chicks, killed one of them, and hurt the other one bad enough i expect it to die soon. I listened to each of her eggs and can hear movement and pecking in 2. I have bought those two in and put them under a light. I do not have an incubator. The eggs are all covered in mess from the previous two that hatched. Should i wash then? Will they even hatch under just a heat lamp? Should i bring in all the eggs? Should i put these back under her? I have no idea what is the best thing to thanks in advance.

I've had luck with eggs by that stage under a lamp -I used to take duck eggs from abandoned nests as a kid, and didn't have an incubator at the time either.
If you're going to leave eggs with her, it sounds like you'll need to watch and take the chicks as soon as they hatch.

One has piped. Any idea how close they need to be too the lamp to be at the right temperature? I don't have a thermometer so i don't know the temp. Should I take the ones who have not piped back to the hen?

Just one of those forehead scanning ones. One hatched this morning but is not getting up or walking around. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
