Need incubator help !!!

Wait, so there's a day 0? I probably just screwed up some eggs. I put my eggs in the incubator on a friday after lunch so counted from then till sat after lunch as 1 full day, then after lunch on sat was the beginning of day 2. Goodluck to you on your hatch and incubator.

You were exactly right, it takes 24 hours for one day. Things get confusing when others don't think in terms of real time and make up things like a day 0. As we know, there is no day zero, it's the first day and it's been completed in 24 hours then your working on day two.

Calanders are always a great way to work out hatch days. The day of week you set is the same day of week you'll hatch three weeks later. Yup, 21 days.

Right. Another way I like to look at it is if I set eggs on a Sunday, they'll hatch on a Sunday. After all, 21 days is 3 weeks.
If I weigh or candle, I do so at 1 week and at 2 weeks, but that's just me. Everybody does things differently.

I also have one of those little Incubator Warehouse countdown timers that I set when I set eggs. It sits right in front of my computer monitor. I tend to forget about the incubator. I highly recommend it. Once 21 days completes (or whatever time frame/species you set it for) it starts counting up so if eggs are late, you know exactly how late they are. If you don't reset it, it will tell you how old your chicks are in case you forget to write it down.
