Like many men as they grow older, I no longer have as much
hair on my head as I once did. Matter of fact, I don't have much
hair left at all.

My barber has raised his prices again.

I feel this to be so unfair, and I'm complaining about it.

Don't you think bald men should get a discount? It's not like the
barber is working hard on us.

It isn't like I even get to set in the big barberchair and talk anymore...
all I need is walk by, a couple of snips with the sissors and I'm good
to go. Only thing he's done is cut $15.00 out of my pocket.

It makes me feel bad.

Last time I needed a haircut, I went to the beauty shop with my wife. I was
tired of over-paying my barber. Not going there no more either...those women
laughed at me. They weren't funny either.

They charged me for washing my hair...then gave me a discount on account of I
don't enough hair. Then they charged me an additional $5.00 for polishing the
bald spot.

My wife called me "Shiney" for days.

Men unite! We need to tell the barbers bald men need a discount!

Spook...who remembers having hair

I am afraid I am on the other side of this, I am of multi decade age very multi LOL and need a haircut every week. I hate it it's thick and wavy and I like to try and keep it short if I can, I wish I was of sparse growth it would be much easier to manage. My wife cut's my hair and she does a great job because my hairstyle is somewhat simple LOL. I want a shiny bald spot and briefly toyed with the idea of shaving it for the summer just for kicks, My friends said they didn't think it was a good idea so I relented.

I know you said "mens opinions" but.......

If you were my spouse I would not subject you to a 'beauty parlor' visit.

I am old fashioned and think barbers are for men beauty parlors are for women. Some things should never change.

Invest in a $20 clipper set and give yourself a buzz cut, very simple to do.

Or find another barber, IMO $15 is too much for a man's haircut.

When I was cutting hair I'd charge the bald guys $5 for a neck trim. Basically all it was.

I'm the wife speaking, but we have a pair of clippers. None of the men in my family pay for haircuts, ever. Why pay someone else when it's SOOOO easy to do it at home??

My DH and sons never get their hair cut by anyone but me. My brother occasionally comes by for a trim when his young daughters aren't around to do it. Clipper sets have these snap on guards that allow you to trim at a consistant length all over. It is a simple matter of selecting the length ( 1/2 inch at our house ) and then begin mowing your hair. Works great, looks great. Your wife can trim around your neck and ears, and you are done. You recoup the cost of your investment in only one or two cuttings.

LOL yeah I have reconsidered when my DW reminded me of the 4 ugly healed holes on the sides of my head where the Halo was held in position after a broken neck years ago. She said......... do you really want to look like Frankenstein LOL, She was right for the first time hehehehehe.
