And what does typey?? mean?
sorry im not so great with the terminology for silkies yet
what about her comb? ive not seen one like that, the ones on my other silkie girls is like they have no comb at all!or very very very little.
is this one ok?

Her comb is fine. the cushion is the tail, hers is nice and rounded. typey means her overall form is good.
this little girl is very typey she was born aug 4

wow aug. 4th this year???!!!???
mines only 5 or so months. Will she fill out? everyone says she will. Im hoping she gets more fluff. she is a very well mannered girl and if she gets the right looks, id like her temperment to get passed down.
what is the "wow" factor?
i said wow when i got her...

If she has no obvious disqualifications, then don't start fully judging her until she is at least 8 months old. You'll drive yourself nuts. I bought a trio of Silkies when they were 3 months old and practically started hyperventalating because I thought they were horrible representations of the breed. One rooster was very lanky and thin and not poofy at all. The birds in general weren't too impressive at first. But I waited a few months and they look better now. That particular rooster fluffed up alot and I now know from experience that they will sometimes carry that 'lanky', I'm-too-small-for-my-skin look until they grow into it. That said, there are some things that don't improve in birds. (Example: toe-spacing) But your bird doesn't seem to have that issue.

Cushion is the back end of the bird, meaning, the tail. The backside should be puffy and poofy. A good comparison would be the ribbon-winning bird against your new one. It's obvious who has the better cushion.

Typey is the general look to the Silkie. I honestly can't give you a thorough answer here. Try looking here. You wanna breed/show Silkies? Read up on their Standard:

http://www.browneggblueegg.com/Standard.html

And the National Silkie Breeders Assosication is very helpful too.

http://www.nationalsilkiebreedersassociation.org/

I've heard from many people that it's not desired for a Silkie's comb to be bumpy. I've shown a female (her comb has bumps) in a junior class for a few different shows and so far, I've had no feedback on it.

Don't be too harsh or rash until she gets older. I have a white bird who is 4 months and I'm not too impressed with her yet either. Bear in mind that Silkies mature slowly and not every bird can 'place' in a given category right away. My 8-month-olds still have quite a few pin-feathers that haven't grown out yet. Patience is key with these birds.

I didn't read this post before I posted my last one.

I find the absolute best way to see a chicken's 'natural' look (in this case, for type) is to not alarm them of your presence and watch them when they're calm and relaxed. You sneak up on a chicken and make noise or offer food or catch them at a time that they have their guard up or are tense, and you're not going to see the natural bird that they are. When I catch my Silkies off-guard they freak out, their crests 'contract' and get smaller, their necks extend, and their whole body seems to get sucked in. Go up to her quietly and just watch.

Honestly, my Silkie girls never strut.

They just stand there. You want to see them relaxed, but the issue that comes from that is that when relaxed, their tails are usually down. Silkies should have a poofy cushion, but it should also be raised.

My rooster struts. But the girls just keep to themselves, so it's hard to get a good look at type sometimes. Pictures never do the bird justice. You ask for opinions on a public forum and people are going to tell you what they see. But you'll have to be the real judge of that because you can actually handle your bird yourself.
