Need quick help sexing before I buy

I’m about to buy 2 8-9 week old barred rock Plymouth’s but I’m 99% sure they are cockerels. HELP

Those are cockerels, not barred rock. I'm thinking they are dominiques

Look like cockerels. Barring is lighter and can see some combs popping.

We lost our barred rock to a predator and I was looking for more around that age to mix in but I’m pretty thorough on my research. The guy keeps saying they look just like his laying hens
I can have a rooster but I’m not ready honestly. I haven’t picked them up yet

Those are dominiques, and they are both cockerels. Dominique roosters can get pretty aggressive, so if you don't want to deal with that, don't buy them. Some can be calm though, so you can take your chances if you want to buy them.

They are so pretty and I really wanted a barred rock. I can’t take the chance on a mean rooster right now. Thank you for saying that!!! Life savers
