Sad day today. I've made the decision to cull and process my cockerel. He's been increasingly human aggressive and rough during mating to the point he's harming the pullets. He's 9 months old.
I've never done this before and read some good articles on BYC with pictures but I'm not confident at all that I won't mess up removing organs. I tried finding some how-to videos but they're hit or miss. Does anyone have a good step by step YouTube video they can recommend for a first timer? I'd rather skin than pluck since it seems way easier. I plan on using the slow cooking or pressure cooking the meat so it doesn't have to be pretty.
Someone will be helping me cull but I'm on my own for processing.
Thanks for the help!
