Where did you get them?

Thanks! I got the fertilized eggs from a guy down the road who has a bunch of chickens. One of my hens went broody so I decided it was a good time to try my hand at hatching chicks. 10 eggs went under the hen and the rest to the incubator.

I can't really guess what breeds they might be mixed with, but they're both fabulous!!

First one is looking like a faverolle mix. If he isn't this, probably you have a easter egger. Like the other one

Johnny17, I think you might be right! I looked up the faverolle and I've got a hen from that same batch of eggs that matches the pictures exactly! Thank you!!

Does anyone know what type of roos I have or what they may be mixed with? They both look so different! One has feathered cheeks with a big comb and the other is more streamlined with a pea comb. Thanks for looking!

If you're getting colored eggs (green or blue tints, maybe some pinkish) from the hens in that hatch, it's a good bet that your boys are a mix-n-match of Easter Eggers with some purebreds tossed in to confuse things a bit. Of course, that's the fun of EEs. You not only get a pretty egg basket, but the birds can be ... and usually ARE ... every color of the rainbow!

Lol, well they just started crowing and mounting the girls about a week ago but as of now they're still friendly to me.

I'm thinking that they're mixes of mixes with some EE in their background.
