Need some guinea hatching advice-- Have two WAY early hatchers!

Thanks everyone! No more pips, but I took out the turner and increased humidity... Excited to see how many we get!

The amount of misinformation about guineas on the Internet is astronomical. I, too, have read that guineas have to start eating within 6 hours of hatch. Nonsense! And I just had a guinea hatch two days ago - on day 20. The other 27 eggs are just sitting there, waiting for a more reasonable hatch day. Meanwhile, the lone little keet has the brooder all to himself, and seems to be doing just fine. Guineas write their own rules.

And for the record, you can find an amazing amount of misinformation about chickens on the Internet, too.

Just found the source of the information about guineas needing to eat with in 6 hours of hatching. It's from a book by Wright, published in 1885. And, no, they don't.

I am hoping that someone can help me. We are new at hatching guineas and we had our first 3 hatch, but all died before they were dried. Any help or suggestions would be great.
