Need some hatching buddies - Hatching May 24-28

Lockdown day and I've got a pip! I went to move them to the hatching bator and one was pipping in the egg turner! They're all moved now and I'm anxious to see what happens to Mr. Early Bird. My humidity was in the 30s and sometimes lower in the incubating bator so it should be interesting!

Well it's day 18 and LOCKDOWN! Here is a picture of my eggs. The one on the front row that is laying funny is that way for a reason. The aircell is smack dab in the center of the egg and this guy is alive. I hope he can hatch. I tried to encourage the air cell to move up but it wouldn't. The others all seem fine. The silkies will reach day 21 Thursday and the rest of them on Saturday. No peeping or rocking just yet but I am not going to panic just yet. Although, I read silkies sometimes hatch early.... I just hope they hatch at all!

Put 9 BR turkey eggs into lockdown yesterday morning! Day 28 is Thursday.... I can't wait though!!!! I had pretty good luck with my first two hatches (this is my 3rd) and I'm hoping that it wasn't just beginners luck!

Lockdown day here too! I didn't see eggs rocking on my first hatch until day 20 so I keep peeking at these eggs to see if they are rocking! None yet.....but maybe on day 19!! Hope to get all 15 eggs to hatch!!

Ok, I just went into lockdown too!
I just love this part of hatching.
The elevated level of anticipation
is so fun. I've got a bator full of
silkies and wheaten ameraucanas.
Can't wait to see my new babies!

I have 9 Molted Java & 8 Barred Olive eggers in Lockdown, due to hatch on the 27th.
