Need some opinions on dirty shipped eggs.

Well it wasn't just the condition of the eggs themselves but the bubble wrap that they used was dusty and the egg carton was stained like coffee had spilled on it and there was dirt in the bottom where the eggs sit. It was/is just an all around bad situation with these eggs.

I really do wonder about the health of the parent birds so it will probably be best for me to find another breeder anyway.
 
Oh no so sorry to see that. I would feel the same way as you, don't risk it. Hope you get your refund and it all worked out. I got some speckled sussex eggs from Little_Grey_Bantam, maybe you can try her, she shipped great and the eggs were perfect.

That actually says a lot. Chickens naturally lay pretty clean eggs (comparatively) since they are good about using nests for the most part. For their chicken eggs to be that dirty, their birds must be literally living in filth. I am not surprised that their packaging would be dirty too.
