Need the name of the feed

Depending on where you are for product availability, Kalmbach Starter/grower is higher than most in protein without getting up to gamebird levels.

I have special ordered it through Ace Hardware before and had it drop shipped to the store. It’s mostly made and sold around Iowa.

We have peafowl, no chickens yet.

Sorry all my info was chicken related. I know nothing about pea fowl. Agreed, it game bird/turkey feed that USUALLY has the higher protein levels. But not all.. my LFS sells one they call gamebird/turkey starter with only 20% protein which just seems stupid to me scince all thing I read said they require MORE protein than chickens.

I have no idea what kind of feed peafowl need. I've only raised chickens so far.

I too was speaking of chickens and don't know anything about pea fowl. If they need a turkey starter (24%), sunrise is where I buy mine. Turkey's use their broiler (18%) as a grower. That said, again I don't know the nutritional requirements of pea fowl.

ETA: Oh and they sell a 22% chick starter as well.
